The festivities begin early with live entertainment at Arneson River Theatre and a festival at La Villita.

One of the most anticipated moments of the day is the River Walk Dyeing, when downtown waters turn green before your eyes. The downtown portion gets the green treatment at 1 pm, while the Museum Reach happens at 2:30 pm.

The afternoon continues with the Emerald Run 5K and Family Walk, followed by the Bud Light St. Patrick’s River Parade.

You’ll have two chances to catch the parade – at the Museum Reach at 3 pm or downtown at 5:45 pm.

Insider Tip: Check with your favorite riverside restaurants along the River Walk. Many offer dinner and ticket packages so you can catch the parade along with an unforgettable meal.

The day wraps with the River Walk Royalty Coronation and a lively parade at the Arneson River Theatre. Throughout the afternoon, Arneson Stage features Irish-inspired performances including Fire on the Mountain, Inishfree Irish Dancers, Dublin OH, and Happy Out, along with interactive audience games.
