“My group, SA Volunteer Buddies, and I are “volunteer regulars” with the San Antonio River Walk Association – we love their events! We’re all big fans of the river parades, Fiesta, Wishing Lanterns, etc.! So much fun to help bring so much joy and happiness not only to our community but to the thousands of tourists that visit our city throughout the year! I encourage everyone to try out volunteering – you’ll love it!”

“The San Antonio River Walk Association has given IBC Charitable & Community Development Corporation members a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference while having fun on the treasured San Antonio River Walk. The friendly smiles, electric atmosphere, & the loads of fun we experience at SARWA events keep IBC C&CDC members coming back year after year. We highly encourage every member of the community to join the San Antonio Riverwalk Association’s mission in keeping our city’s lifeline clean, safe, & fun for future generations.”

“I find a deep connection to the San Antonio River Walk, from its history to current posture within the ever evolving system of commerce & community, it provides a magnified experience & perspective to all who wander along its neatly networked banks – be they tourist or native. Having been born in San Antonio, it keeps me tethered to the series of advancements that accompany each age & as I grow alongside this city I feel obligated to assist as ably equipped. I am grateful for the San Antonio River Walk Association’s continued dedication & commitment toward the River Walk.”

“Volunteering with the San Antonio River Walk Association was such a great experience. Working with people from all over the city, from all different backgrounds and ages to create an experience like no other for the citizens and tourists of our great city - volunteering for them is definitely an experience to have at least once if not more!”

“My time volunteering at the San Antonio River Walk Association was simply a great experience. Not only did I get to enjoy the beautiful River Walk while doing meaningful volunteer work, but I also met some amazing people during my time there. I was given the opportunity to take on a volunteer role where I could practice and develop my leadership skills to help me in my life and career.”

"I enjoy volunteering for the SARWA because it gives me the opportunity to give back to my city. While volunteering I've made some lifelong friends. Not only has my love for the River Walk increased, but so has my love for the people of MY city. If you have the time to volunteer, do it!"

"I had a wonderful experience volunteering at the San Antonio River Walk Association's Ford Holiday River Parade. The best part of the event was watching the joy the parade brought to the attendees in my section. Events like these allow us to see the good in our community and I look forward to volunteering again in the future."

“I had a great time volunteering with The San Antonio River Walk Association. I would gladly do so again, and bring family and friends along for the ride with me. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and it was just nice getting out and being able to meet and help tourists and residents alike. It renews your spirit of community. Can’t wait for more events this year!”
