Fun Fact: This event dates back to 1969 and has been organized by Visit San Antonio River Walk and the Harp & Shamrock Society of Texas ever since!

Watch the River Walk Go Green for St. Paddy’s!  Join us as we kick off the St. Patrick’s celebrations in the most spectacular way by turning the San Antonio River Walk bright green!

With 25 gallons of eco-friendly dye, our beautiful river transforms into a dazzling shade of emerald, mirroring the legendary River Shannon in Ireland. Be part of the magic, soak in the festive vibes, and celebrate St. Paddy’s in true San Antonio style!

Get ready to hit the scenic San Antonio River Walk for a fun, festive, and fitness-filled morning at the Emerald Run 5K! Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking for a great way to get moving, this event is the perfect way to celebrate spring, community, and a little Irish luck! Jazz up your run and don your favorite leprechaun gear or green running attire!
