Tokyo Cowboy

TOKYO COWBOY

The newest restaurant on the River Walk, Tokyo Cowboy transports you to Japan but also combines a classic Texan aesthetic with an Asian-inspired menu of Japanese street food. They also specialize in whisky-based cocktails — we recommend trying the Cobra Kai which is made with Japanese Whisky, Ube, Coconut, Pineapple, and Becherovka. As for food, the Krab & Crab Butter Ponzu and Spam Musubi Roll are a must-try!

DORREGO’S

Located inside Hotel Valencia and overlooking the scenic River Walk, Dorrego’s Restaurant stands out for its delicious Argentinian-inspired menu. Depending on the days you visit, you can catch live entertainment including a live Latin guitarist and Naranja Latin Jazz Band. We also recommend checking out Hotel Valencia’s “Tango in the Courtyard” event, where you’ll take a trip to Plaza Dorrego in Buenos Aires and watch live tango dancers. Hot Tip: You can order from Dorrego’s menu during this event.

FIUME PIZZERIA & WINE BAR

If you’re craving pizza, take a trip to Italy at Fiume Pizzeria & Wine Bar. This spot is the only place offering wood-fried pizza on the Riverwalk. But what makes this spot so unique is that it incorporates local flavors that highlight Neapolitan-style pizza in what they define as Texapoletana.

If you’re looking for a place for delicious brunch or a happy hour that represents the great state of Texas, Domingo is the spot. From brunch plates to appetizers and dinner entrees, Domingo’s menus offer the flavors of South Texas, celebrating the culture of San Antonio with modern culinary flair. We highly recommend trying its Cantarito Brunch Bowl or Churro Waffles.
