Fiesta San Antonio is right around the corner, and it's time to make your Fiesta plans! This year, it will be held April 16 – 26, 2026. If you are not familiar with Fiesta, it is a time when San Antonio comes alive with vibrant colors, festive music, and delicious flavors and events! 

And Fiesta events can be found throughout the city, you don't have to venture far from the River Walk to find incredible events to take part in. With events and attractions for all ages, there's no better place to soak up the excitement of this beloved annual celebration.  

Here are 11 festive events to check out: 

Pachanga at Pullman Market brings the ultimate Fiesta vibe with live music, bold flavors, and nonstop energy in one of the city’s newest culinary hotspots. Expect local vendors, festive drinks, and a lively atmosphere that perfectly kicks off the celebration season in style. 

San Antonio River Foundation Flotilla Fiesta 

April 19, 2026 

The San Antonio River Foundation Flotilla Fiesta turns the river into a floating celebration filled with decorated kayaks, canoes, and colorful costumes. This unique, family-friendly event highlights the beauty of the river while supporting conservation efforts — blending Fiesta fun with a meaningful mission. 

 

Celebrate our Military at The Alamo 

April 20–23, 2026 

Celebrate our Military at The Alamo honors the bravery and service of our armed forces with special ceremonies, reenactments, and patriotic programming at one of Texas’ most historic landmarks. This meaningful Fiesta tradition offers a powerful tribute in a truly iconic setting. 

Fiesta at Main Plaza 

April 21–25, 2026 

Fiesta at Main Plaza lights up the heart of downtown with live entertainment, cultural performances, and delicious local food. With its rich history and vibrant atmosphere, this free event brings the community together for days of music, dancing, and unforgettable Fiesta moments. 

Texas Cavaliers River Parade 

April 20, 2026 

The Texas Cavaliers River Parade transforms the San Antonio River into a dazzling celebration of vibrant floats, festive music, and bold Fiesta colors — drawing over 250,000 spectators each year! A cherished tradition since 1941, this unforgettable event also supports local children’s charities, making it a celebration with heart. 

Ford Mariachi Festival 

April 23 – 24, 2026 

The Ford Mariachi Festival, an official event of Fiesta San Antonio, is free to attend and can be experienced along the Downtown portion of the San Antonio River Walk. 

Festive, decorated river barges with local mariachi and Folklorico dancers drift along the River Walk, serenading and performing for you while you enjoy the views and sounds from the river banks - or even from the patio of your favorite river-facing restaurants! 

La Semana Alegre at Hemisfair 

April 23–24, 2026 

La Semana Alegre at Hemisfair transforms Civic Park into a high-energy, two-day mini music festival featuring iconic 80s throwbacks, indie favorites, and live performances across multiple stages. From nostalgic hits to modern sounds, plus Fiesta eats, drinks, and a vibrant vendor market, this “party in the park” is a must for music lovers looking to celebrate Fiesta in full festival mode.

April 25, 2026 

The King William Fair is one of Fiesta’s most beloved traditions, featuring a lively street fair, artisan vendors, live music, and a colorful parade through the historic district. Known for its eclectic charm and creative spirit, this event draws thousands for a day of culture, art, and celebration.

 

NIOSA Fiesta Celebration

A Night in Old San Antonio (NIOSA) 

April 21-24, 2026 

No Fiesta experience is complete without attending A Night in Old San Antonio or NIOSA. Held at the nearby La Villita Historic Arts District, these four unforgettable nights of food, fun, and festivities. 

Sponsored by The Conservation Society of San Antonio, NIOSA is not just a party – it's a fundraiser for historic preservation! Feast on mouthwatering treats from over 155 booths, savoring everything from traditional tamales to savory sausages. Fiesta Artisan Show

April 24-26, 2026 

At the River Walk extension near the Shops at Rivercenter, you'll find the River Walk Fiesta Artisan Show. Stroll through booths of over 40 local artisan vendors as they display their talented works—from paintings to textiles, jewelry, pottery, and so much more! Support local artists at the River Walk Fiesta Artisan Show! 

2025 Battle of Flowers parade

Battle of Flowers® Parade

April 24, 2026 

"The parade that started it all," the Battle of Flowers® Parade is the city's annual parade held in downtown San Antonio. Fun Fact, the Battle of Flowers® Association is the only all-women, all-volunteer organization generating an event on this scale. Grab your vibrant, colorful - and cool, fiesta gear and head over to this iconic parade. 

You may hear a few "Show me your shoes!" shouts at Fiesta Royalty. It's become a tradition for Fiesta Royalty to go big with their comfy shoe choices and now their elaborate and oftentimes customized footwear has become part of the grand spectacle!
