The future of River Walk Royalty is shining bright! Take a moment to meet the candidates for our upcoming River Walk Royalty Court. Each member's royal title will be awarded based on the funds they raise for the San Antonio Hospitality Foundation. You can contribute to each candidate's donation pool through the link provided below.

Monica "Moni" Felán

Monica "Moni" Felán, a proud resident of the South Side of San Antonio and deeply connected to her Mexican-American heritage, is driven by a passion for service and compassion. As a dedicated REALTOR®️and advocate for military families, Moni actively contributes to her community through various outreach programs and initiatives, fostering support and connection among residents. Her commitment to enhancing the lives of those around her, coupled with her cultural grace, makes her a shining example of heritage and service, that reflect our River City.

Yesenia Frade

Yesenia is an educational leader and yoga instructor dedicated to education, community engagement, and leadership development. With a passion for education and service, she is running for River Walk Royalty to inspire and support future hospitality leaders and make a meaningful impact on our city's growth, education, and culture.

Stacey Mazuca

Stacey is a San Antonio native who radiates joy, pride, & love for our city! A graduate of St. Mary’s University, Stacey is a professional performing musician, visual artist, and is openly & authentically an advocate for various causes on social media. Erica Valadez

Erica Valadez is a Public Relations Specialist at Lone Star National Bank with 28 years of banking experience. A proud Southside San Antonio native, she’s passionate about community empowerment, financial literacy, and supporting small businesses. Erica serves on the South Texas Business Partnership board and various local committees and associations.

Taylor Abbott

Taylor Abbott has proudly called downtown San Antonio home since 2015. As a local business owner and active community leader, he’s passionate about preserving the culture, energy, and beauty of the River Walk. As a 2026 Royalty candidate, he brings creativity, commitment, and pride to representing the heart of the city.

Jonathan Colemere

Jonathan Colemere is a lifelong San Antonian with a passion for technology, advocacy, friends and family. At the age of 18, Jonathan founded his technology services business, which continues to be his primary career today, nearly 25 years later. Throughout his life Jonathan has also dedicated special attention to the cause of breast cancer advocacy. For almost 10 years Jonathan has served in leadership roles with the Alamo Breast Cancer Foundation and the National Breast Cancer Coalition. At his core, Jonathan is dedicated to service, helping those in need as much as possible. It is with great honor that he now accepts the call to service for his city and its beautiful River Walk!

George Garnica

George Garnica Jr., a proud Westside San Antonio native, holds a B.A. and M.A. from the University of the Incarnate Word. As a Director of Family and Community Engagement, he is dedicated to empowering families, promoting higher education, and connecting K–12 students with the resources they need to thrive.

Born in Puerto Rico, I moved to San Antonio in 2006 and found my purpose in hospitality. With over 25 years in the industry, I now serve as a Senior Sales Executive for Marriott. I’m passionate about nurturing local talent and creating welcoming experiences that reflect the heart of our community.

Rene Silva

My name is Jason “Rene” Silva, but my friends call me Rene. I’m a 37-year-old born and raised San Antonian. I work as a sand miner on the outer city limits of San Antonio. I’m also a dog and plant dad who loves to cook and entertain!

Francisco Venegas

I’m originally from Querétaro, Mexico, and have called San Antonio home for over 20 years. As a University of the Incarnate Word graduate with a long career in hospitality, I’m proud to live downtown and am passionate about giving back to the community that has given me so much.
