If you’re looking to become more active, the River Walk is perfect for this too! Head over to the Mission Reach portion of the River Walk for shared hike and bike trails, a paddling trail, connections to the San Antonio Missions and Confluence Park, and more.

Bring a bottle of water, and choose the activity that works best for you! Hike the trails while exploring some of San Antonio’s greatest historical sites, take a bike ride and enjoy San Antonio’s over 250 days of sunshine, or head over to Confluence Park for a yoga sessions. The options are endless!

 

Explore New Hobbies

This one may not be available until the beginning of March, but this one is surely worth the wait. Take up your latest hobby in San Antonio by kayaking on the Museum Reach portion of the San Antonio River Walk!

Open at the beginning of March, through the end of October, Mission Adventure Tours offers kayaking on the San Antonio River Walk. If kayaking isn’t quite your speed and you prefer something a little different, stand-up paddle boarding is also available! 

Increase Your Arts & Culture Intake

San Antonio is home to works from some of the greatest and most talented artists – and the River Walk celebrates this at the River Walk Public Art Garden

Start at the intersection of Market and Alamo Street near the Shops at River Center and begin exploring this open-air gallery with phenomenal installations. Celebrating both local and international artists, the River Walk Public Art Garden can also point you to locations to explore even more works of art throughout the city. Insider Tip: Take the River Walk Public Art Garden Tour and head over to the San Antonio Official Visitor Information Center for a prize!
