Brenda Lee Treviño is passionate about promoting the beauty and history of the River Walk because it’s her home. Her special connection to River Walk started the day she was born at the Nix Hospital in downtown San Antonio. Her roots are deep in the culture of the beautiful city by growing up near Southtown, close to San Antonio’s most treasured landmarks like Mission Concepcion, Roosevelt Park, and the San Antonio River.
Family is very important to Brenda; Her commitment to service started early on with her parents showing her how to work hard and stay determined. Brenda and her husband, Moises pass on their love for service, hospitality, and the beautiful city to their three loving children, Eddie, Sienna, and Liliana.
Brenda started her career in hospitality at the front desk of the Hyatt Place Riverwalk. During her tenure at the Hyatt, she combined her extensive knowledge of the River Walk and excellent customer service skills to serve tourists and locals alike. Brenda’s commitment to hospitality through hard work and continued education led her to becoming an award-winning Director of Sales at the Wyndham Garden Riverwalk, where she has been for 6 plus years.
Brenda understands that pride in her community calls for action, and that’s why she volunteers for SA Global Business Travel Assoc, Child Safe, Habitat for Humanity, SA Food Bank, SA River Warriors Program, Grunt Style Foundation, and more. She is also the Community
Co-chair for the SA Greater Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors Committee and is responsible for planning community-involved events on a monthly basis. She is also a Board Member for the SA Hotel & Lodging Association.
Brenda has a true passion for the travel and hospitality industry, and hopes you will donate to her campaign as the funds raised will be donated to the San Antonio Hospitality Foundation, a nonprofit organization supporting scholarships for students in the tourism and hospitality industry.
