Passengers on the Southwest Airlines flight were surprised by the furry guests, but were even more delighted by the koala plush they got to take home to commemorate the special flight.

The brand-new summer event that begins Memorial Day weekend, May 25, and runs through Labor Day weekend, September 2. Annual Pass holders are invited to a sneak preview of Wild Australia on Friday, May 24 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Educational events like this help the zoo creatively educate the community about a country they may never get to visit. The zoo is able to bring awareness to the one of the most biodiverse countries in the world and the animals that call it home.
