Celebrate 300, San Antonio’s New Year’s Eve Celebration

Ring in 2018 at Celebrate San Antonio, the city’s official New Year’s Eve extravaganza. Known as the largest free New Year’s Eve festival in the state of Texas, Celebrate San Antonio continues to draw over a quarter of a million excited revelers downtown for music, food, carnival games and rides and a spectacular fireworks display.
‘80s rockers REO Speedwagon and Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo would headline. The entertainment lineup also includes Neil Giraldo and local group The Last Bandoleros, Little Joe y la Familia, Bidi Bidi Banda, and Sam Riggs.
Party-goers will be treated to live music on three stages, featuring DJ Robbie Rob, Pinata Protest, Carlton Zeus and national recording artist Frankie J at the Bud Light Main Stage, Latin beats mixed with country music at the Maverick Plaza Stage and family-friendly performers at the H-E-B Family Stage at the Arneson River Theater.
The evening culminates with an incredible fireworks show, an outstanding display of pyrotechnics that is sure to wow the whole family.
Celebrate San Antonio is co-produced by the San Antonio Parks Foundation and the City of San Antonio.

The free event – dubbed Celebrate 300 – is being billed as a family-friendly affair that will include a larger downtown footprint including a good portion of Hemisfair and Yanaguana Garden, an outdoor cinema and an 80-foot Ferris wheel.
