The historic Crockett Hotel stands where Davy Crockett and a band of Texas settlers defended the southeast palisade of the Alamo during a 13-day siege in February-March, 1836.
In 1909 a fraternal organization built the current six-story building to serve as a hotel and fraternal lodge. The seven-story west wing was added in 1927 and in 1982 the building was renovated to preserve its original grandeur, earning it a place on the National Register of Historic Structures.
Then in 2007 the Crockett was completely remodeled.
Like our state of Texas, the Crockett Hotel is well-located, independent, spacious, and comfortable, has a great history, and maybe most of all - is friendly and personable. (138 Non-Smoking rooms & suites)
