IMMERSE YOURSELF IN ARTS & CULTURE
One of the most eagerly anticipated events on the city’s calendar is Fiesta Noche del Rio, a vibrant fiesta celebrated along the iconic San Antonio River Walk. Noche del Rio originated in 1957 as a way to showcase the diverse and colorful cultural traditions of San Antonio. Visitors can catch a performance every Friday and Saturday night at 8:30 p.m. at the Arneson Theater from now until August 5th. The festive evening brings together a talented ensemble of performers who take the stage with captivating acts. From flamenco dancers and mariachi bands to Folklorico groups and jazz ensembles, the performances are a mesmerizing blend of traditional and contemporary styles. The event also raises funds for local charities, supporting various causes and organizations that positively impact San Antonio residents’ lives. You can purchase your tickets here.

EXPERIENCE NEW ART EXHIBITIONS
Located on the River Walk in San Antonio, the San Antonio Museum of Art has large collections of ancient Mediterranean art, Asian art, and Latin American art.
This summer, SAMA looks back at the Museum’s heady past as the Lone Star Brewery in Still Brewing Art. The exhibition will feature Belle Époque large format brewery posters as well as rare pre‑Prohibition Lone Star Brewery objects, historic photographs, and SAMA site plans dating to 1976 that were used during the brewery’s renovation. In addition, the exhibition will explore San Antonio’s history as a brewing city and the ways in which the San Antonio River is at the heart of this story.
We also can’t forget the Briscoe Western Art Museum which is located in the heart of downtown. Make sure to check out their latest exhibition “Southwest Rising” and all the events they have going on this month.
