Military River Parade to Honor Veterans
Military Veterans will soon get honored with a river parade of their own. It’s coming up May 19th at 3 p.m. and Nancy Hunt from the Paseo Del Rio Association came on Fox News First to spread the news.
San Antonio to salute vets with River Walk parade
The City of San Antonio will be honoring its military veterans this coming Armed Forces Day, May 19, with a River Walk parade and concert.The inaugural Here’s to Our Heroes Military River Parade is being sponsored by the the Paseo del Rio Association and the City of San Antonio as a special salute to all branches of the Armed Forces.
2012 NIOSA Poster and Medal Unveiled
"A Night In Old San Antonio®" Chairman Kathy DeWaal, Society President Nancy Avellar and well-known artist Kathleen Trenchard unveiled the 2012 NIOSA poster at a private reception on Thursday, March 1 in the gardens of Casa Villita for Society board members, NIOSA volunteers, special guests and Fiesta dignitaries.
