A procession of decorated river barges will transform the San Antonio River Walk into a floating Bourbon Street. Krewes of costumed revelers & live entertainment will celebrate Mardi Gras San Antonio Style! Enjoy live music on Arneson Stage from 11am to 7pm, and a festival of food, arts & crafts, activities and more at La Villita. Parade will take place 3pm-5pm.

Come by La Villita between 11am and 7pm and enjoy authentic Cajun favorites like gumbo and jambalaya, as well as traditional festival favorites like funnel cakes!  Pick up a unique keepsake from our arts and crafts vendors, and take in some great live entertainment on the Arneson Stage.

Festival, 11am-7pm

11am-1pm- Elementos- Elementos is an acoustic ensemble based on the Latin music genre:  Bachata, Bolero, Cumbia, Jazz, Pop, Rock, Rumba, and Salsa. Elementos was recently awarded the title of 2013 Official Band of the River Walk

1:15pm- 4pm- City Sounds- City Sounds will entertain festival goers with exciting dance music from the ’60’s to today’s top hits

4:15pm-7pm- Europa- Europa, an eight piece Contemporary/Smooth Jazz and R&B group, will close out the night. 

Parade, 3pm-5 pm

We will make 2 laps around the horseshoe bend of the San Antonio River Walk, into the Rivercenter Mall lagoon and out, and through the Arneson River Theatre. View the parade from River Walk Restaurant or Hotel Patios in this area, or at Arneson River Theatre in La Villita. The parade starts at 3pm, and will be into Arneson Theatre at approximately 345pm on the first round. Click HERE for a map of the parade route.
