Meet the bands!

 Hydra Melody

Hydra Melody is a five piece alternative rock band with five separate musical instincts, fueling a single cohesive sound. The band is from San Antonio, TX and always holds strong to their local roots. The current Hydra Melody lineup has been together for over 3 years and the band is always hard at work making new music or on tour sharing their music with the world. Hydra Melody has seen many opportunities over the years and can't wait to see what 2015 brings for them.

 The Black Market Club

Hailing from San Antonio, The Black Market Club is an indie-rock quintet specializing in catchy lyrics, moving melodies, and driving riffs. The band has been described as "a taste of hardcore, a pinch of progressive rock, and a dash of upbeat indie-rock”, and has been compared to the likes of Circa Survive, Manchester Orchestra, and Local Natives. After a few lineup changes since the band's formation in 2013, the current lineup is Andrew Bauer, Austin Busbee, Ben Griffith, Luciano Islas, and Zach Taylor.

 Dan Gonzalez Band

Grandson of Conjunto legend and pioneer Ismael Gonzalez, Dan has his roots deep in the Lone Star State’s fertile musical ground. Drawn to Texas singer-songwriters, such as Lyle Lovett and Robert Earl Keen, as well as classic rockers like Tom Petty and the Eagles, Dan’s songs have a pop sensibility with enough blues and rock electricity to get the dance floor jumping and the crowd rocking. During the early 2000’s, Dan started performing in San Antonio with a cover band. After a few years of playing local clubs, his drive to play his own material prompted him to leave the group, and form his own band. He quickly assembled some of the top sidemen from the San Antonio area, forming the Dan Gonzalez Band. The group’s lineup is Dan Gonzalez (Vocals/Guitar), Matt Alpert (Lead Guitar), Al Hockley (Keys), Brent Martin (Drums), and Mike McLean (Bass.)The band has opened for a number of national acts and completed and released their debut album “Long Way Down”. With their debut album released, the Dan Gonzalez Band is taking their brand of Texas music throughout the Lone Star State and beyond.

The Anthony Wright Band

The Anthony Wright Band is a group from Schertz/Universal City, TX with a diverse style going from Blues to Southern Rock. Starting in June 2013, the group started off as a cover band but just recently began performing original music. The group (with various lineups) has performed at a handful of big events such as the Blues Heritage Festival at Sunset Station and The Robert Johnson Sessions at Sam's Burger Joint in 2013 as well as Opening for 7-time Grammy Winner Steve Wariner at Bluebonnet Palace and performing on the same bill as Johnny Lee in 2014. The band was also selected as 1 of 9 finalists in Austin's Heart of the Blues Challenge in July of 2014. The current lineup of The Anthony Wright Band, containing Anthony Wright (Lead Guitar and Vocals), Charles Jones (Bass), and Jose Corona (Drums), bring forth their individually different styles to the band based on their past experiences.
