Hotel Havana

Located on the famed Riverwalk in San Antonio, the Hotel Havana offers a distinctive blend of vintage charm and modern comfort in the heart of downtown. The Hotel Havana was reopened in April 2010 by Liz Lambert of Bunkhouse Management. Lambert, a west Texas lawyer turned hotelier is known for her unique vision and aesthetic which is also showcased by her Austin projects, the Hotel Saint Cecilia and Hotel San Jose. Lambert’s vision for this San Antonio Riverwalk hotel seamlessly melds old San Antonio with a Cuban flair.

A pet friendly hotel, the Havana has 27 rooms in 8 unique layouts. From the studios to the 2-story Penthouse Suite, all feature the hotel’s original wrought-iron beds, rich dark wood flooring, handsewn bedding and unique SMEG minibars.

The Bar located in Hotel Havana’s basement, has been a downtown favorite for locals and visitors alike and offers a variety select rums, mezcals, decadent desserts and coffees. The heady mix of vintage furnishings, lush candlelit ambience and classic coctails will transport you back in time. The Bar also sells a selection of fine cigars which can be enjoyed on one of the Hotel Havana's private patios.

Business and pleasure travelers to the Hotel Havana also enjoy conveniences such as wireless internet, onsite hotel parking in addition to free local and long distance calling.

The Havana is a historic boutique hotel and part of the fabric of San Antonio’s history. First opened in 1914 as a residential hotel, Hotel Havana is now listed on the National Register of Historical Places.
