El Tropicano Riverwalk Hotel

El Tropicano Riverwalk Hotel

A blend of Latin Tropics mixed with early ‘60’s glamour define the look of El Tropicano. Our multimilion-dollar ongoing renovation gives our hotel a large boutique look. We offer a variety of 306 rooms and suites. Our guests will have a sense of deja vu mixed with the realization that this has never been seen before. To those who visited the hotel in the 1960s and ‘70s, there will be plenty of Latin-inspired design, elements that recall the property’s glory days as the first hotel built on the famed Paseo del Rio. Our new signage creation adorns the entrance and sets us apart from all others. This masterpiece design is 58’ long, 28’ high consisting of 313,000 one inch imported mosaic tiles. The colors consists of cool tropical colors such as Ice white, Cancun blue, Acapulco blue, Caribbean green, Cuernevaca green, Emerald green and Lilac. The El Tropicano Letters and signature monstera leaf in metallic gold and backlit to enhance the shimmering tiles. Our dedicated and experienced staff members await to exceed our guests expectations. Our experienced sales, catering and convention team are available to reserve your next social gathering or convention. Your guests will enjoy our refurbished 37,000 square feet of beautiful ballrooms and meeting rooms that accommodate 10-1,000. Our hotel offers the only meeting facilities with a balcony overlooking the waterfalls of the Riverwalk.
