Absolutely not! The River Walk is considered a city park and is, in fact, maintained and operated by the San Antonio Parks & Recreation Department. In other words, it is public space!

Is there a river taxi?
There is a shuttle on the river. It is operated by the same company that does the boat rides but without the tour. Rio Taxi is available 7 days a week from (9:00 am to 9:00 pm).
